KLM Open at the Hilversum Golf Club

The 92nd edition of the KLM Open is held at the Hilversum Golf Club from 8 to 11 September. Featuring top players such as Martin Kaymer, Lee Westwood and Rory McIlroy, this year’s KLM Open has the strongest field ever.
The KLM Open is part of the European Tour, the top professional golf circuit in Europe. In recent years, the prize money has increased to 1.8 million euro, 300,000 of which goes to the winner. With 45,000 visitors, it is one of the most visited tournaments on the European Tour.
In 2011, for the eigth year in a row, KLM is the title sponsor of the tournament. In cooperation with partners Deloitte and ABN AMRO, the KLM Open has grown to be one of the largest and most prestigious annual sporting events in the Netherlands.

The Protocolbureau provided assistance today at one of the relationship events. Six ushers welcomed the guests at the entrance of the golf club and escorted them to the hosts of the event. Many guests were then introduced to each other by the hosts.
