King Willem I Prize to VDL Groep and Vencomatic BV

VDL Group and Vencomatic BV are the winners of the Koning Willem I Prijs 2012 (King Willem I Prize). During a festive gathering at the Floriade Horticultural World Expo in Venlo on Tuesday May 8, His Royal Highness the Prince of Orange awarded both companies. The prize was given to VDL and Vencomatic for decisiveness, courage, innovation and sustainability.
The evening consisted of a program presented by talkshow host Ivo Niehe. The evening was opened by the President of the Netherlands Bank and Chairman of the Koning Willem I Foundation, professor K.H.W. Knot. Among the more then 450 guests many entrepreneurs and dignitaries.
The Protocolbureau supported the evening with its ushers.
