OPCW is looking for a Protocol Officer
The Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) is an intergovernmental organisation, located in The Hague, Netherlands. The organisation promotes and verifies the adherence to the Chemical Weapons Convention which prohibits of the use of chemical weapons and requires their destruction. The verification consists both of evaluation of declarations by members states and on-site inspections.

The Protocol Officer will provide protocol and liaison services, services to the Executive Council sessions, the annual Conferences of the States Parties and other seminars and conferences hosted by the OPCW, ensure the implementation of the Headquarters Agreement, maintain a database with contact details of the Permanent Missions to the OPCW, National Authorities and Representatives to the Executive Council and perform other duties and responsibilities as required. Applicants are fluent in English and have a minimal of five year working experience and a University degree.
